Roadtrip to DC!

Addy made her first roadtrip to DC, leaving Ohio for the first time and passing through Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia. She was super nice to her parents and slept most of the way there and back in the car.

Addy got to meet all our friends in DC, including the newest (and cutest) member of the group - Finn Waters Ward. But the "newest" title will last only so long, as the other reason for our visit was to pamper our friend Raanan, soon to be mom awaiting the arrival of little baby Baratz.

Here's Addy & Finn and their two lovely moms.

Addy had a great time playing with Finn.

Love at first sight ;)

Holding hands.

Addy also loved playing with Finn's car. Pretty sweet ride.

And eating Finn's car.

Isn't he cute? And such a good jumper!

Addy also got to meet Emma, daughter of our friends David Smigelski and Jolene Vettese.

Old MacDonald Had a Farm...

Addy continues to grow and develop her personality more and more everyday.
Want to hear her perform??? Here's a classic for you - Old MacDonald Had a Farm. Addy's particularly good at the chorus :)

Addy continues to love her books.

"And, what do I do with the feet on my ladybug book???"

"Oh yes, I eat them!"

Here's Addy with her friend Dylan from church. Dylan's being quite the gentleman and trying to hold her hand. Addy, well, she talked his ear off. Wonder where she gets that from...

And here's Dylan trying to eat Addy's foot. Too cute.

After all that play, it's time for a nap.

(And, yes, as you can see, Addy still looks very much like her Daddy)

I'm 2 Months Old!

It's hard to imagine that Addy's already two months old. She's a beautiful, healthy girl, now 23 1/2" long and weighing in at 12lbs, 4oz.

Isn't she cute???

"Look at me - I've got the rings!"

"And I'm not letting go."

Here's Addy with her favorite toy - her musical, vibrating cow.

And here's Addy holding hands/paws with her other favorite "toy", Indy. Addy loves to watch Indy walk by - she doesn't even mind an occassional tail being wagged in her face.

Here's Addy reading a book...

Or is that eating a book?

Snowbaby

Here are some pictures from Addy's first adventures out in the snow. (And thanks again to Sarah for the very cute snowsuit!)

Our little snowbaby :)

Playing with Indy...(and yes, Addy is so bundled up in that snowsuit that she actually can't bend her arms or at her waist - reminded us of Maggie on "The Simpsons.")

Mommy and Addy :)

And cutest of all - watch this video of Addy making her first snow angel.

Go Blue! (and other fun pics)

Go Blue! Here's Addy ready to watch the U of M Bowl Game with Daddy.

And here's Addy doing one of her favorite things of late - grabbing on to your shirt collar and pulling down! Heaven help you if you're a guy and have chest hair, cause she'll pull that, too.

Here's Daddy giving Addy her first bottle.

And Addy, who's much more alert now, playing with Dad in her crib.

The Christmas Pageant (& other Christmas pics)

Now playing...Christmas Eve performance...
The Christmas Pageant
Starring Adelaide Lanz as Baby Jesus
Christ Episcopal Church, Shaker Heights

Mom carried her out on stage and placed her in Mary's arms.

And how, you may ask, did she do in her theatrical debut? She looked like this - asleep.

Here she is with the rest of the cast.

Here's Addy meeting some of the other "cast" members - the stubborn donkey and an alpaca named Bob.

And here's Mom, showing off her Christmas angel.

We had a wonderful Christmas morning at home - here's Addy with Daddy, both looking very festive.

And one of Addy's Christmas presents this year - her very own stocking.

Tummy time on wrapping paper. It crinkles :)

Addy makes great faces. Here's her "Christmas face." Who even knew you could make your lips do that???

Happy Holidays! Love, the Lanz family.

Meeting More Family

One of the best things about having a baby at the holidays is it makes it even easier for Addy to meet lots more of her family members.

Here's Addy with Grandpa John and Lizzie.

Addy with Uncle Jay and Aunt Carrie...

Addy with her Great-Grandpa & Great-Grandma Thompson...

Four generations...one couch...(from left to right, Dad, Great-Grandpa Thompson, Addy, Great-Grandma Thomspon, and Grandma Sherry).
